Senior Solutions of Long Island was established in 1995 by Joanne Wachter.

Senior Solutions of Long Island has been helping senior citizens in all of New York State to improve their life during their later years, and our friendly, knowledgeable Medicaid specialists are available to provide you with assistance today. Our director, Joanne Wachter, has more than 35 years of experience serving the needs of NY residents. Previously, she worked for the Department of Social Services, and she has been the owner and director of Senior Solutions of Long Island for the last 27 years.

Joanne founded Senior Solutions of Long Island with the goal of helping seniors and their families learn more about their Medicaid benefits as well as other government entitlements. She understands how frustrating and stressful this time of life can be, and she can educate you about how the government may pay for a retirement home in NY, an adult day care program, a nursing home or other types of care that may be needed.
